The RCIA is the process used by the Catholic Church for the faith formation and initiation of adults into the church through the sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Designed for the unbaptized, it is adapted to also bring Christians of other traditions into full Communion. Its intention is to involve the whole parish in an ongoing process of conversion – in the formation of new members and in the continuing formation and renewal of cradle Catholics.

4-stage process: Inquiry, Catechumenate, Purification & Enlightenment, Mystagogy
Service within RCIA – Sponsors, Hospitality, Phone calling, babysitting, prayer support, etc.
